[Food Escapades] Brie!

Mmmm. This is Brie Cheese~ It's my favourite cheese in the entire world. It's so good. It's salty and creamy. And if you bake it, it's really soft and melty. :)

[Food Escapades] Yogen Fruz!

Yogen Fruz is the name of the Canadian frozen yogurt chain. I got my custom mix of green tea and oreo. I made it a goal to try the weirdest combinations whenever I go to Yogen Fruz. It tasted pretty good though. Yum.

[Project 365] Day 47: Rosy pink

So. The colour looks nicer than this in real life, but I had worn this for a couple days and it chipped and wore down a bit. I used my Konad stamper and stamped a couple roses on there and just lazily blobbed some white on my pinky. I love nail polish.

[Project 365] Day 46: Cry No More.

This actually isn't a tear. It looks like a really long glass tear with sparkles on it. I love it. It's a Christmas tree ornament. I love the thing to death. I should really go put it on the Christmas tree tommorrow morning.

[Project 365] Day 45: Cafe Latte

This is a placemat on my dining room table and it has pictures of coffee on it. I absolutely adore coffee. I had a white chocolate mocha when I was in NYC from Starbucks, and I absolutely adored it. It's so good! Anyways. I haven't had a Starbucks since NYC and I had to make do with the other coffee around. Coffee is my lifeline to school. It keeps me awake and satiated for school. So yea.Coffee is important to me.

[Project 365] Day 44: O Christmas Tree

This i s the christmas tree in my foyer. Black and white as always to make things dramatic. Christmas is coming up! I can't wait. There're still some assignments and tests to be done until school is over. It's sad that school is ending on the 23rd this year. Just before Christmas! Oh well. Take what I can get, right?

[Project 365] Day 43: Heartbeat

This is a shirt for one of the committees I'm on. I'm an executive! I really love it. The shirt is a baby blue colour and I love the design on the front because it's so simplistic and minimal. It's very cute. Love it! Will wear it on event days~ :)

[Project 365] Day 42: Who is the Fairest of them All?

This is a pocket mirror that my mum gave me, after my grandma died. This belonged to her and I keep it on me when I have makeup on. My grandma died a long time ago, but I still remember the sadness on that day. I would never choose to relive that day. I didn't know my grandma too well, so at the time, I didn't shed a tear. It broke my heart to see my mom sob like that, but I didn't shed a tear, becuase I had to be strong, when my mom couldn't. I had that kind of mentality as a kid, and I have that even now.

[Project 365] Day 41: Please Snow.

THERE'S NO SNOW IN TORONTO. I'm pissed. I love winter for the snow and the chill of the air. There's no snow outside. And it's almost Christmas! A lovely christmas present would be snow outside, please. I'm begging for it. This is my plea for snow. Badly done snowflake nails and a snowman on the ring finger. I got the tutorial from Cute Polish on Youtube. PLEASE SNOW.

[Project 365] Day 40: Tougher than you.

No. I'm not that tough. I just own this glove from Claire's because it was part of my costume for my 8th Grade Talent Show when I danced with my friends. I own the left hand one, and my best friend owns the right hand one. I love edgy pieces, but I don't wear this out. It matches with nothing. Except maybe an all black outfit. Leather jacket, black jeans. Something like that. I don't wear my leather jacket out often, because the weather will only be perfect for a leather jacket like. 2 weeks out of the year. I still love my leather jacket though. I'm not that much of a glove lover either, so to own even one glove that I like, is a huge accomplishment for me.

[Project 365] Day 39: Smile for Me.

It seems like I'm always taking pictures in my math classroom. I sit near the wall in the back, and this was on the wall. It's a blue smiley face! It's cute. And lonely, so I took a picture. The wall isn't yellow by the way. It's white. I just tried to make the picture look vintage-y when I was editing it.

[Project 365] Day 38: Fresh Pharmacy

This is my chunk of Fresh Pharmacy soap from Lush. I got this in New York City in Soho. I love this soap. I've cut it up into chunks to use it periodically. It gives a really clean feeling without feeling drying. I love this and it smells so good. I will buy more when I run out. I'm starting to get addicted to Lush. I bought this with a bottle of Grease Lightning for my acne,  but they're both part of my routine now! Will buy lots when Lush has the Boxing day Sale! :)

[Project 365] Day 37: Kapow!

This is a lollipop wrapper. The school DECA committee was selling these, and they're a hit every year. I love them. This picture was taken in school, as evident by the desk that the picture's taken on. This one was Sour Green Apple. Yum.

[Monthly Favourites] November 2011

Late! I know, I took this picture a week ago, but I was too lazy to post it up, because I was starting the new Food Escapades series.
These were my favourite things from November.

First, is the Charmed Life body lotion from Bath and Body Works. I only got a sample size, but I absolutely adore it. It smells so nice and yummy. I wish it wasn't limited edition, because I love this scent!

Second item, is Clinique's Take the Day off Makeup Remover. I love this makeup remover, because it can take off the waterproof mascara, without making my lids feel oily. That annoys me to no end, when the makeup remover leaves an oily residue on my lids. So this is something that I will for sure be repurchasing when I run out.

Next is the Peter Thomas Roth Mega Rich Body Lotion. I got this sample size when I was staying at the Hilton Resort on the Strip in Vegas, next to Circus Circus. They had Peter Thomas Roth toiletries, and I checked Sephora, after I returned, and found that man, these toiletries must have been expensive. Anyways, I love the scent of this lotion, and I use it for my hands. It's really moisturizing, and I wish I could have gotten more of these sample sizes? I also have the conditioner, because I always seem to be running out. Anyways, I still have yet to try it out, but I will soon!

The Sweet as Candy palette is my go to eyeshadow palette. I use the white as a highlight, and I use the bronze in my crease. This is what I use as part of my daily look. It's by Wet n Wild and it's so pigmented! I love these shadows, and I'm going to try to look for a more neutral palette, because it needs to be more daily for me? I still love it though.

Next is the Colossal Volum Express in Black and Waterproof. I like waterproof mascaras, because it makes my lashes last all day long! This mascara works for me, in making my lashes stand out more. I don't really notice if my lashes are any longer or thicker, because I do, have long and thick lashes for an Asian. I will probably be trying out more mascaras, before I settle down with this one as my go to mascara. I love it though!

PS I love you is another discontinued Bath and Body Works scent. I have the body spray and I got it on sale, when they were doing a clearance sale. I love this. I spritz this in my hair after I wash my hair and my hair smells so good, afterwards. I love floral scents, maybe that's just me. I tend to own a lot of discontinued things for some reason .Oh well.

Nail Envy is by OPI, and this is a mini size. This is what i use as my base layer before I paint my nails. I will eventually have to buy a proper base nail polish when this runs out. Nail Envy is supposed to be a nail strengthener, and it does strengthen my nails to an extent. Otherwise, it's just a substitute base polish. I love it though, because it's what I use all the time, and it works.

Last item is my rose ring. I got this at Aeropostale, and I love this ring, mostly because I love roses, but I love the fact that it's a silver colour and there's black on it to make it look tarnished and old. I dunno, I fell in love with this when I first saw it in Buffalo at the Aeropostale outlet, but I wasn't able to get it. Finally, I ended up purchasing it when Aero had a jewelry sale. I also ended up getting a bottle of perfume, because they were discontinuing it. I hope they don't discontinue the Bayla scent. I still need to buy that one. It's my favourite of all. It's so fruity!

Stay tuned for next month's favourites!

[Food Escapades] Peppermint mocha and sausage mcmuffin

First breakfast on the trip to NYC. The peppermint mocha was okay, but I liked Starbucks one more. I never liked mcmuffins, so overall, it was a mediocre breakfast.

[Food Escapades] Vanilla Milkshake

This is a Vanilla Milkshake I got at Johnny Rockets. It was thorougly teeth rotting sugary, but it was good. I had this with my awesome Cheddar bacon hamburger, which I didn't photograph. This was on the last night of New York City.

[Food Escapades] POUTINE

Mmmmmm. Poutine. It's from New York Fries. I got this the same day I got my first Starbucks. This was my lunch, and damn it was good. Poutine, food of the Canadians.

[Food Escapades] Venti Green Tea Frapp

This was delicious. I accidently ordered a Venti instead of a Grande, but oh well. Well worth the six dollars or so it costed me. I had this in New York at the Rockerfeller Center.

[Food Escapades]

This will be a new series I'll be working on, and it will document all my food adventures, that have not been posted onto this blog, so no, my ramen picture will not be going in this series, and from now on, no food pictures in [Project 365] and food only in [Food Escapades]. :)

[Project 365] Day 36: Loose as a pigment

No, this is not a drug. This is a loose white eyeshadow, that I depotted because I wanted it loose, rather than pressed. It's in the shade Sugar by Wet n Wild. It's a shimmery white eyeshadow that I now use to mix in my paints, to make them sparkly. What kind of drug is sparkly anyways? So, yea. I'm not doing drugs, it's only an eyeshadow that I wanted to show. Now that I think of it, it's kind of a bad choice in picture, because of the other conotation it can send. Oh well.

[Project 365] Day 35: Fantastically Creepy

I was at the MOMA, or the Museum of Modern Art in New York City, and I bought this deck of Tim Burton playing cards. He drew the designs on these. I love Tim Burton movies to death, and the way his movies have this tinge that makes them fantastically creepy. I love these cards so much. I'm a little mad at myself though. I had them in this bag, and I had bought a grande caramel brulee latte. I hadn't finished it with my dinner, and I had put it in the bag, because the NBC studio tour, didn't allow drinks. I hid it in the bag, and the coffee was spilling everywhere. That's why now, my cards smell like coffee, have stains on some of them, and some are stuck together. I have peeled them apart though. Some of the red from the backing of the cards are on the face of the cards. Disappointed, but still in love with these cards.

[Project 365] Day 34: Tell Me a Story.

I write, as evident in my previous blog posts, and these are some stuff I was working on while at school on paper. I was typing them up this day and these two will probably never be posted up, because they're long stories, and I never finish my long stories. Anyways, it's fun to write. The closest one to the camera is something I was inspired with an idea of while I was in New York. A lot of my characters are based on real people that I observe. I'm a creeper I know. Both of these stories have characters that are based on real people. Not naming any though.

[Project 365] Day 33: It Takes Talent

Chess pieces. I know, what does that have to do with Talent? Well, anyways, this is a chess set in my school's music room. We were there afterschool, late at night, waiting there, my band and I that is. Why? Because we were in the school's talent show. Although we didn't win, it was a fun experience and it was for a school project anyways. We had a good time, and our month or so's worth of practice paid off.

[Project 365] Day 32: Let it Snow~

This is the first proper snow storm we got in Toronto, and it's November 30, the last day before December. Perfect timing, if I do say so myself. It was a little dissapointing though, because a day later, this all melted. It was nice while it lasted though. I do hope I have a white Christmas, with snow and the whole shebang!

[Project 365] Day 31: J'adore

I got a sample of the J'adore perfume by Dior, and I have to say I love it. Even though it's kind of expenisve. It's $60 for an ounce of J'adore, and $22 for a bar of Soap that smells like it. Anyways, this perfume contains notes of Mandarin, Champaca Flowers, Ivy, African Orchid, Rose, Violet, Damascus Plum, Amaranth Wood and Blackberry Musk, according to Sephora. I hate how little the sample has, but then again, it is an expensive Eau de Parfum. My little baby here, only had 0.03 ounces of it. Oh well. Maybe when I have a job, I'll consider buying it.

[Project 365] Day 30: I'll Makeup With You!

I got this in Sephora when I was shoppin in Soho. Isn't it cute! And it only cost me $15. I love this little baby. Anyways. I actually didn't get any Nail Polish when I was in New York, simply because there were so many other things I could buy. You prioritize when you're in the shopping district with a budget. I did get some clothes, namely a shirt and a pair of jeans, but it was fun shopping with friends in a different country.

[Project 365] Day 29: South of Houston

Soho district! It's very picturesque, right? We were allowed to do whatever we wanted this day, so we obviously went shopping in Soho! I spent a lot of money this day. Anyways, it was fun getting to shop in New York City. I bought a lot of things, but I probably will not be showing them, purely because it'll be a hassle getting them out. Some things I will be showing though. Just staring at this picture, I can't believe I took it. I miss New York City already. This was our last day in New York City.

[Project 365]Day 28: Times Square

This is Times Square at night! It's kind of dangerous because there's so many people. It's kind of a let down, though, because Times Square is definitely bigger on TV than it is in real life. It's still really nice to look at in the night time though. We were in Times Square because we had dinner in the Planet Hollywood in Times Square. I would have skipped it though, because our food choices were mediocre because it was a set dinner. I would have skipped it to see Daniel Radcliffe up close, like some of the other girls did in the group. They stood outside the place where his Broadway show was for two hours to see him. They got his autograph and everything! I only got to see the back of his head for two seconds. I didn't have the time to take a picture either. Otherwise, that would have been my picture for this project. . . Jealousy. . .

[Project 365]Day 27: Central Park

This is a beautiful sight from one of the bridges in Central Park. The Park is absolutely massive by the way. I only made it through a fifth of the park and it took us about an hour and a half. From this bridge, you can see the skyline of New York in the background. It's just absolutely gorgeous. You can see the buildings in the background. I felt bad for the couple also on the bridge, who was getting their engagement photos done. A group of school kids totally invaded the bridge for their tourist-y photo snapping. Anywyas, this was the second day, and it couldn't have been any more fabulous. We saw Memphis this night too, I'm pretty sure. Memphis the broadway show.

[Project 365] Day 26:Concrete Jungle Where Dreams Are Made

I took the line from Empire State of Mind, obviously. Yes, this is the Concrete Jungle. We went to the Top of the Rock on the first night, and we saw the gorgeous skyline at night. It's a really beautiful sight. I would reccoment going to the Rock, rather than the Empire State to see the night view, because you can actually see the Empire Stat building from the Rock too. It's a beautiful sight, but damn, think of that electricity bill.

[Project 365] Day 25: Wheels on the Bus

These aren't exactly the wheels, but we were sleeping on the bus while driving to NYC. This is my stuff, and we had enough room to have a row to ourselves on the coach bus. Ahhh~ Anticipation!

[Project 365] Day 24: Packing the Bags

I was getting ready for my trip to New York City. I was so excited! It's hard choosing what to wear, because of the fashion so evident in one of the biggest cities in the world. You wouldn't want to be seen wearing something that isn't very flattering out in one of these cities! It's a little intimidating, but all is well. Packing was fun, because this is my first trip out of the country without my family.

[Project 365] Day 23: Art in my Heart

This is my school, and I stayed afterschool pretty long that day, because of a club meeting I had. These are the back panels of some art that was strung up to hang from the ceilings. My school has a massive thing for the arts, and I'm grateful because it fosters creativity and individuality in people. I love art and am very interested in creative things. Why else would I be doing photography and be photoshopping?

[Project 365] Day 22: Mini-Haul!

I got this stuff from my aunt who came to visit. Since I live in Canada, we don't have an Ulta, and I'm kind of jealous. So I got three nail polishes, and a metal file, and a nail clipper. Thank god for the nail file. My mom lost her glass file, and I hate using the paper files, so now I have an eternally awesome metal file. I am an addict to nail polish and it eats up my money. Thank you auntie, for getting me something that I'll love rather than some generic present. <3

[Project 365] Day 21: Where's the Cup?

So I had yet another Starbucks. I had two at this point, and they were delicious. I started a collection of the cup things. I have no idea what they're called. And I would write the date and what I ordered on the back of them as a memory of what I've had. I'm going to try and make it my goal to try all the drinks they have. Yum.

I'm back from NYC. . .

I know this is a little late, but i came back from NYC on Monday, and I've been kinda lazy lately because I didn't have enough sleep the entire week, but it's Friday, so that makes up for it! I will be posting up pictures soon~ I need to edit my Project 365 photos and will be posting those up before I do the NYC ones~  :)
